facebook post comment
i just wanted to share something I found online and put my comments in italics
No one is ever busy in there life. Its all about Priorities.
this is so true. so many times i have thought i was busy only to have something else come along and manage it perfectly fine. my lack of priority can be seen in my lack of going to the gym. when i only had a job i was always so bored and into myself. now i work, have a girl, volunteer, and hang out with my friends. sleep is overrated lol
Love doesn't start in morning & doesn't end in the evening.
It starts when you don't need it & it ends when you need it most.
everytime i have met a girl, it has been this way. never have i gone out and searched for it. maybe it cuz of my lack of game or maybe its because of the lack of pressure. but for better or worse i like it this way. unexpected.
Tears don't come when you miss a person but they come when you don't want to miss a person.
yep
Never raise your voice just improve the Quality of your argument.
if you dont know this you might want to look up the word ignorant.
Life is much like Facebook, People will like your problems & comment but no one is gonna solve them. Solve your own problems!
You regularly text friends that don't reply you, but if you text from a new number everyone will reply that "Who are you ???" People have time for unknown but not for known. Make it Reverse now!

happiness
happiness...is everything. Happiness isn't based on money and sometimes not even on what you're doing. Its about who you're with.
its about living with no regrets
And realising that a bad thing will last a few months, so who cares if he doesn't ask you out? who cares what your parents catch doing with the one who does? and who cares what anyone says about you.
Happiness is taking a risk
and it pays off
and even if it doesn't
another opportunity presents itself.
happiness is staying up all night with your friends.
happiness is water fights on late summer evenings.
happiness is love....lust only gives moments of happiness to the fact you can't believe you have that person...love leaves you eternally in wonder of how you ended up feeling so right.
happiness is being with your friends and wearing crazy ass hats in public
happiness is seeing a familiar face in never ending sea of lies.
happiness is no homework
happiness is having tickle fights with the one you love
happiness is lying in the sun looking at the clouds
happiness is doing what you want to do
happiness is helping one another
happiness if giving all of you no matter how much you receive in return
happiness is being able to speak your mind
happiness is knowing you have earned all the praise you get and being able to say thank you...not going red, studying your shoelaces and bringing yourself down
happiness is confidence
happiness is working hard for something
happiness is being whatever you want and not caring what anyone says...you only get to live once..you will never live it down if you're on your deathbed and you realise that you've spent your whole life being what everyone else wanted you to be. living a lie
happiness is finding out who you are
happiness is coming home and your parents ask you how your day was...even if you just grunt back
happiness is singing in the shower as loud as you can...i mean showers have that magical power that means no-one else can hear you...right?
happiness is not being afraid to say someone is hot...it makes u all giggly...saying someone is good looking doesn't necessarily mean you want them
happiness is feeling safe
happiness is feeling wanted
happiness is feeling at peace with yourself
happiness is feeling that someone always has your back
happiness is when something isnt funny..but you're so happy to see someone that u can't stop smiling
happiness is that one thing you can never really express to someone...its like a drug, it makes you do crazy things...its make you feel on top of the world.
happiness is the one thing that keeps you going when you're like the single flowers whose colours have turned to shades of grey
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, I wrote down "happy". They told me I didn't understand the assignment, I told them they didn't understand life. (John Lennon*)

What is Beautiful?
Question: What is Beautiful?
Answer: Beautiful is a woman who has a distinctive personality, one who can laugh at anything, including themselves, who is especially kind and caring to others. She is a woman who above all else knows the value of having fun, and not taking life too seriously. She is a woman that you can trust and count on to brighten your day. She is a woman who can inexplicably make you feel really good just by being around her, and yet brings such great sadness when she is gone.

don't be a stranger
be a friend...
True friendship is not when you go to school and hang around with someone just
because you have no one else to chill with. It’s not calling someone up when you’re bored because they are fun to talk to. It’s not when you can’t think of a
birthday gift and end up buying your friend a Wal-mart gift card. Is not when
you have to talk to someone about something you don't particularly care about
(like how much snow we got last year) to avoid an awkward silence.
Friendship is when you love someone with every ounce of your being and genuinely want them to be happy even if it means sacrificing something yourself to make them happy. A true friend is someone you can talk to about your feelings, someone you can tell things you could never tell your family or even your partner. They are someone who you don't have to talk to but someone you want to talk to; someone you will go out of your way to be with. Friendship is when you love someone so much you want to hold them and never let go, someone you want to rest your head on and cry, and you would let them cry on you too. Its someone you can talk to about things you disagree on and end up being closer for that disagreement. It’s when you think about someone and how close you are to them and how much you love them and you smile and are happy all over.
Friendship is when your love for someone exceeds your need for them. (the Dali Lama said that)
Something that is much underrated in our society. Friendship is actually a form of love (here I'm not talking exclusively about erotic love). It's not a lesser form of love than erotic love, only a different form of love. In fact, the ancient Greeks had a word, "phileos", more or less equating to fraternal/brotherly love (friendship). Friendship seems to have no observable biological necessity(unlike parental love, necessary for humans to grow, and erotic love, necessary for humans to reproduce), and not much of a marketable appeal (as opposed to the millions/billions of dollars worth of things sold to people trying to better their marriages or parenting skills), yet without such a form of love as friendship our societies would be unbearably dull and alienated from one another. One can love their friends as well as their "significant other", just not in the same way (the difference here is quality, not necessarily quantity
a relationship between two individuals that share a mutual bond of trust and liking as well as commitment and personal feelings and experiences, which allows them to benefit from each other.
"A friend is one who walks in when others walk out" - a friendship quote
Permission to treat people like shit without the unfortunate backlash of physical pain that possibly comes with treating complete strangers like shit.

Weed
I don't care about the medical benefits of weed, how
its harmless, how it relaxes you and makes you feel better. I don't care if it's illegal, dangerous or a
gateway drug. None of that matters, none of that is relevant. Weed to me
symbolizes the worse of human traits. Greed. Selfishness. Violence. The worse
of human kind. Forget about the child labor or sweatshops in China that made
your Nikes and videogames. Forget of the long hours and subhuman conditions
third world citizens are forced to work in to make a living. Every day people
are dying so you can get high. Every day a mother loses her child so you can
enjoy yourself for a few minutes.
Murder. Rape. Torture. That’s
what’s getting you high. The suffering
and death of a nations people. Innocent and not so innocent blood flows down
the streets. Decapitated heads lay in
city squares. Bodies melted in acid, with mothers who will never be able to
bury their children. Civilians scared to
leave there homes. Why wouldn’t they? Innocent
people shot in the middle of the street and the police turns the other
way. A nations military brought to its
knees by money wielding thugs. Weed isn’t a dangerous drug or a medical
miracle. It’s a Pandora’s box that unleashes the worse of human kind. Evil and
violence but worse. Indifference and carelessness. No one cares to ask or think
about the real victims. No one thinks
about the consequences of their actions.
The moment you paid for it, before you even smoked it, before you
enjoyed or harmed yourself whatever you belief may be, the damage was already
done. No it’s not a victimless crime. The
victim was killed far from the scene of the crime.

My last Saratoga
September 5 2011 was my last day working at Saratoga Racecourse. It was a sad and emotional morning for me. Not just because it represented the end of a phase of my life. I've enjoyed working at Saratoga. I've enjoyed living here. Like Tony Johnson said "this is God's country" My last day at Saratoga racecourse represented the fast coming changes in my life. My eminent move from Saratoga, from my home, my family. The transition into real adult hood, living on my own and beginning my own life. Nothing will ever be the same again. But all change is good. All that will remain is nostalgia and memories. When I first moved up here I missed Elmont now that I'm moving back I know I will miss Saratoga. This isn't goodbye though, its see you later.
The only thing permanent in life is change.
The only thing permanent in life is change.
